The Acoustic Calibrator is a battery powered sound source. The acoustic calibrator allows direct and rapid calibration of sound level meters and other noise measurement systems. 1, ½ and ¼ inch sound level sensors can be connected to the acoustic calibrator and controlled via the adapters.

The calibration frequency of the acoustic calibrator is 1000 Hz. This is the reference frequency for internationally standardized evaluation curves. This acoustic calibrator allows you to calibrate acoustic measuring devices with A, B, C or D weighting filters. The calibration pressure of this acoustic calibrator is 94 ± 0.3 dB (1 Pa) and 114 ± 0 .3 dB (10 Pa). The acoustic calibrator is thus used in quality assurance, for example to test sound level meters or in calibration laboratories.
